According to the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior, the bus passed along the Via Marioutiyah in the Haram district of Giza when a craft bomb, hidden behind a wall, exploded shortly after 18.00 local time.
Of the 14 Vietnamese tourists who traveled on the bus, only two remained unharmed. None of the injured is in danger of life, according to medical sources cited by Al Arabiya. Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly immediately went to the El-Haram hospital in Giza, where the injured were found.
